     With prom set for May 9, 2026, this year’s “Black Swan” theme is already shaping what Eisenhower students plan to wear. The theme focuses on elegance with a darker, dramatic twist. Inspired by bold and glamorous styles, many students are choosing black dresses with satin or lace details. Popular features include corset-style tops, off-the-shoulder sleeves, and a bit of sparkle, creating a look that feels both graceful and confident. While black is the main color, accents like deep red, silver, dark purple, and blue help outfits stand out while still matching the theme. Accessories also play a big role, with statement jewelry, sleek heels, and styled hair that complete the look. 

     However, achieving the “Black Swan” aesthetic can be expensive. Prom dresses in 2026 usually range from $100 to over $1,000, with many students spending around $300 to $600 on just the dress. When adding costs like hair, makeup, tickets, and accessories, the total can easily reach up to $800 or more. As prom gets closer, students are balancing the pressure to look their best with how much they are willing to spend for a very memorable night.
