Yakima Rotary: Generosity Feeds

On Saturday, September 13th, 2025, Yakima Rotary hosted a meal creation event called The Generosity Feed at Eisenhower High School. The Generosity Feed brings together volunteers to make packaged meals for families and individuals who need them. The meals are then taken to community donation centers, such as Rod’s House.

That day, ten thousand meals were assembled within two hours of hard work and collaboration. I had the opportunity to participate in this fantastic event, and although I wasn’t part of the specific Ike student group, I worked alongside them and witnessed their dedication to serving

If you are interested in future opportunities to help create meals, reach out to the Yakima Rotary Food Bank. They can  help you make a difference in our community: (505) 853-8918
