TikTok vs Instagram

As a member of the current generation I can proudly say that social media and scrolling has plagued the populace. Yet even though my hatred stands strong for hours a week of pointless scrolling I still participate in it.

My question is, which app has the better algorithm, Instagram or Tiktok? Obviously both have their pros and cons, Tiktok is more streamlined and straight forward as their app is literally for scrolling endlessly while Instagram is more for talking to folks or connecting with people. Tiktok also has a better platform for creators with more outreach available when Instagram is run by mega accounts each with thousands of followers.

Although, for the casual brainrotting experience Tiktok will get repetitive with its content seeming like a loop of the same bad videos over and over. Tiktok also has an algorithm that is harder to change by watching new videos and like I stated earlier is a lot more streamlined for intensive scrolling sessions. Instagram however by far blows Tiktok out of the water. The videos are more attention grabbing and intuitive than Tiktok. Tiktok will have you sitting for hours learning nothing and being mindless and Instagram will educate you with a college degree level of understanding of fluid dynamics. The best algorithm is truly open to interpretation and which platform you prefer depends on your level of brain decay. But we all know the true winner of this debate is Instagram obviously.
