Macho Man Volleyball
On a Friday night to remember, Eisenhower ASB hosted what is set to become an annual tradition. It was the opening of Eisenhower High School’s Machoman Volleyball Tournament! In a spirited display of community support and athletes' help, Eisenhower High School hosted a fundraising volleyball tournament to support our school’s ASB program.
This event was held between the fall and winter sports and included participation from the school's athletic teams and a community event. The teams involved were boys' sports teams: basketball, football, cross-country, baseball, soccer, and a non-sports team. Everyone gathered together to strive for the coveted title while contributing to something bigger.
The tournament featured a series of exciting matches, with every team showcasing skills that carry over from one sport to another, as well as teamwork. Beyond the competition, the event held a strong sense of camaraderie among all participants and a large number of students attended to support. These teams were coached by members of the Girls Varsity Volleyball team, who contributed their time and effort to helping their respective teams.
The ASB organizers refereed the games and showed their gratitude with overwhelming support. I thought it was very heartwarming to see the community come together for the school-related event. Ms. Skiles played a vital role in coordinating all of their efforts and overseeing the event’s preparations. The tournament's success was matched by the community's commitment to supporting the school’s environment and embracing school spirit. We look forward to the next hosted event such as this one!
