Fall Fest
As the bells rang for both lunches, the smell of food filled the air as students rushed to form lines. Money in hand, hungry expressions making it clear they were not leaving until their wallets had bats flying out!
The Fall Fest is an Eisenhower tradition, established in the year our building opened in 2012. We get three street festivals a year: Back to School, Fall Fest, and Cinco de Mayo.
The event had a lively atmosphere as people gathered around the tables, mouths practically drooling, having been waiting for this day since the date was announced.
For the first time, Five Star decided to partake in the celebration, sharing our delicious treats. It is unbelievable how much school spirit students have by supporting all of the clubs out there last week.
NHS was selling pizza, which did really well, selling out. Though I was unable to check out the club tables as I was helping out at our table, I hope Debate, FCCLA, DECA, Drama, and SkillsUSA all experienced the support from our amazing students. The student body proved once again that they know how to show up for their school clubs, raise money while enjoying the event, and, of course, find another excuse to spend money on snacks.
