Ham Vs Turkey

Thanksgiving is a wonderful day to spend inside with your family in a cozy way. The food that is served is different in all households, holding a special purpose. Commonly, upon the display of food is a big juicy bird. Traditionally, the turkey is never just bare, it is seasoned carefully with delicious spices, a hearty amount of butter, and herbs. It is famously paired with cranberry sauce and goes very well with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and other dishes. In other households turkey is accompanied or replaced by ham. There are many ways to prepare ham but according to popular recipes, it is glazed with a mixture including brown sugar and topped cinematically with slices of pineapple and poked with clove.

Ham beats turkey in almost every way. Starting off, it is a lot easier to mess up cooking a turkey. It is not uncommon for turkeys to come out dry and overcooked after many hours spent in the kitchen. On the other hand, ham is easily prepared and takes less time to be enjoyable. Although ham is a bit more pricey, it is worth the expense because you are able to enjoy it for longer than leftover turkey. Everybody has a preference on Ham or turkey when it comes down to dishing up. Which do you prefer?
