Soccer Season Ends in Playoffs, but the Future is Bright

Our Eisenhower soccer team has so much talent in EVERY position on the field, they have put in so much work that was unseen by a lot of people, on the field and off the field! They are a young team with only one senior graduating being Captain Laurel Downes.

They placed 3rd in our Columbia Basin Big Nine conference, which is a step up from last year where they placed 5th. Being that they placed 3rd this year, means they were just short of being in the district championship, so they played Sunnyside on November 11th and they won 2-0! Then they played Moses Lake on November 6th with our cadets barely falling short of the victory 0-1.

This devastating loss is only going to fuel them to become even better in the offseason. Even though the season didn’t end the way they wanted it to, they still did amazing this year and are looking forward to working in the offseason to be even better next year. Once again we are so proud of our Cadet soccer team for the awesome season this year.
