Volleyball Ends 9 Year Streak
The Eisenhower Cadets volleyball team made school history, defeating the Moses Lake Mavericks 3-0, pushing their way into the district tournament for the first time in nearly a decade. The victory marks the cadets first win over Moses lake in nine years. A milestone that energized the players, coaches, and fans throughout the gym.
From the opening serve the cadets played with confidence and urgency, controlling the pace on the court and keeping the pressure on the Mavericks, strong communication, consistent serves, and aggressive net play helped Eisenhower take all three sets without giving Moses lake a chance to swing for momentum.
Players described the win as both emotional and motivating, especially knowing how long it had been since Eisenhower last came out on top against Moses lake. The sweep not only broke a years-long streak but also secured the Cadets a spot in the district tournament, a major step forward!
