Grey’s Anatomy… A Major Comeback?

Grey’s Anatomy was a big deal when it premiered, but it peaked in 2006, when the show had nearly 40 million viewers. But it started losing viewers as the original intern cast left. But now the show is barely starting to flare up again with the release of season 22 being aired.

Season 22 is arriving soon on Netflix this June, and many people are starting to watch it now! Grey’s Anatomy is about aspiring surgeons who are being trained in Seattle Grace Hospital and learning how to become real surgeons and pass their tests.

Grey’s Anatomy captures the stress of medical students, as well as the struggles of finding places to live, making friends, pursuing romance, and navigating drama. A lot of people find the situations relatable, entertaining, funny, and interesting. But after everything went downhill, many people don’t care for the new cast members because it doesn’t have the nostalgia it once did.

But now that season 23 is in production and season 22 has been released, more people are starting to stream it again. But controversially, most people don’t think that the show is good anymore since the cast left, and most refuse to watch the newer seasons. Even Meredith Grey has become a guest on her own show.

I’m surprised Grey’s Anatomy is still being funded by the big 26, given that their viewership went from 40 million to 2 million since 2006. It was a good show to begin with, but creating more episodes when most people won’t watch them is a waste of money, time, and work.
