Trunk or Treat!

As October creeps up on us, Halloween and other festivities are starting to take its place amongst the community. Aside from the fair, which ended on the 4th with a bang, haunted houses and corn mazes are finally opening to the public. Here at Eisenhower, we also have a tradition of hosting a few select Halloween events in celebration of the spooky season. How about I cue you in?

Much like every other year, NHS has taken over the responsibilities of our spookiest halloween event, Trunk or Treat. This year, it’ll be on the 29th from 6-8pm. It’ll be situated in the south parking lot (near Zephyll Stadium), with decorated cars lined up against the sidewalk. As I’m writing, the posters haven’t currently been sent out yet, but QR codes will soon be posted around the school for anyone who wants to sign up. Everyone is welcome to come and join in on the fun - not just Eisenhower students and clubs - so make sure to invite your friends and family!

Unfortunately, as this was a big problem a few years back, the school will not be able to provide any candy for those who are going to decorate their trunks, so it’s recommended you bring your own. It’s also recommended that children bring their own bags, as well as a spooky costume and good spirit. There shouldn’t be any overtly terrifying trunks, if you’re worried about how your littles might take it.

Regardless, we here at Five Star hope you have fun this Halloween. Especially since it’s on a Saturday this year, which gives us an extra hour because of daylight savings!
