Mr. (G)uaglianone

We welcome our new freshman principal, Michael Guaglianone. I went and talked to him one on one so we could all know him a little better. He took this position as our principal because of his love for teaching and the vastness of being a principal. He not only can go class to class seeing the diversity of kids learn and also the teachers teach.

Before becoming our principal here at Eisenhower Mr. Guaglianone worked at three different schools: Sunnyside, Franklin and Davis. He taught multiple different stages of math, being pre algebra and pre calc, while also teaching some tech, like video game design.

Mr. Guaglianone said his goal this year is to make the Freshman class the most successful yet; his calling in life is to bring together community and something of a substantial achievement like that would make him feel achieved and accomplished.

Mr. Guaglianone strives to do better in his position and do his work as freshman principal and do it superb then to rise in position because to him his values are so much more valuable and important than any monetary value. One piece of advice Mr. Guaglianone left all of us with the idea that as simple and cliche as it sounds, if you can uphold IKE throughout your whole life it will truly bring you success. Having integrity, kindness and engagement throughout not only your school years but also through your career can and will bring you vast opportunities.

Mr. Guaglianone got to his position where he is now because he took hold of the opportunities brought before him and that’s something we can all do. Michael Guaglianone left us with his last being: find what makes you feel alive, find what YOUR calling is in life. No matter what that dream is, chase that dream, do whatever it is your heart desires and do it well.
