2025 Roundup: Game & Spirit!

This past Friday's football game, our Cadets faced off against the Wenatchee Panthers. The stands were packed with people cheering on our fellow classmates and our student section was there cheering on our team every step of the way. 

     Our Cadets showed great resilience and determination throughout the game and never gave up; the game ended with the final score of 28-7, Panthers on top. 

     The game was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of school spirit with the annual “Round Up” theme. Our school has carried the tradition of “Round Up” for many decades and it is a fun tradition to get everyone excited for the season. 

     Round up is the tradition of the student section dressing up like cowgirls and cowboys and it is always the theme of the first football game hosted here at Ike. Our student section was filled with cowboy hats, plaid shirts, and denim, as the students embraced the western theme.

     Despite the spirited atmosphere, unfortunately we were unable to overcome a strong Panthers team. The “Round up” game may have not had the outcome we had hoped for, but the sense of community and school spirit still managed to remain strong, which reminds everyone that the Cadets will still continue to fight hard throughout the season. Each game has its own spirit theme. Dress up and come out to support our team!
